Oosit Kriyoprezervasyonu: Türk Ebelik ve Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Bilgi ve Tutumu

Aim: The objective of this descriptive study was to evaluate the attitudes towards oocyte cryopreservation among Turkish nursing and midwifery students. Method: sample consisted 342 female students in departments two universities Istanbul. A questionnaire about their socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge views applied online volunteer Results: average age participants 20.96±1.8. wanted have a baby at 25 average, 59.1% had cryopreservation, 19.9% stated that they can use postpone having children for career 57.6% agreed women would be free choose motherhood timing thanks cryopreservation. Students think it if were going cancer treatment affecting reproductive cells (63.7%), underwent surgical intervention affect ovaries (59.9%) under risk through early menopause (50.3%). Conclusion: Although positive, found could accept mostly case medical necessity.
